Roll up, roll up, spring has arrived - and with it the Asia House Fair! From the evening of Thursday 19 March through to Sunday 22 March, there’ll be a trove of Asian treasures across three floors of 63 New Cavendish Street, a short stroll from Oxford Street.
Now an annual institution in the heart of London, the Asia House Fair is the closest thing to an oriental bazaar this side of the Bosphorous.
This year it promises to be bigger and bolder than ever, with a pop-up café, live music and more specialist traders of beautiful clothes, scarves, jewellery, homewares, crafts and objet d’art. Designed and handmade by artisans, cooperatives and designers across Asia, you’re sure to discover unusual gifts a-plenty and that fabulous piece for yourself!
Silk Chassis will showcase striking summer shawls from Bengal – cotton-silk blockprinted with florals and geometrics, each one-of-a-kind. Spring brights, the bold new colourways in our bestselling Saraswati silks range, will be revealed. Plus lightweight woollens woven with shimmering pastel stripes.
For those already beelining to Asia House this weekend, it’s free and ten minutes from Oxford Circus tube:
Thursday 19 March, 5pm-9pm
Friday 20 March, 11am-7pm
Saturday 21 March, 11am-7pm
